BLURRYFACE END OF ERA: New Album Topic Theory


Okay y’all so this thought just came to me. I was doing the dishes and listening to Goner. Since it’s the last song on Blurryface I would assume that some of the content that the song suggest may give us a clue of what the new album could be about. Now I haven’t confronted any other clique members about because I just came up with it… But what if Tyler is a “goner” because all his identity is gone? Tyler was so wrapped up in whatever lies Blurry was feeding to his that like Tyler said, he lost focus of everything and it all became blurry.
   Since Tyler had the red eyes in all music videos except for Heavydirtysoul, maybe he’s trying to show how he was slowly morphing into Blurryface himself, and that that side of him was winning? Since Blurryface is said to cause Tyler to lose sight of what’s important, maybe that’s why Tyler kept zooming by Josh in hds instead of stopping. To show that even though Blurryface’s eyes are gone, there’s still a little bit of him left inside of Tyler? So maybe Tyler is expressing in the song Goner that his true personality is gone, was replaced with Blurryface, and now that Blurryface is gone, Tyler is left with nothing.
   Look at it this way, when someone has depression, they are most likely going to lose interest in any hobbies or social activities that the individual used to enjoy. Maybe Tyler lost everything to Blurry, and now that he’s (Blurryface) gone, Tyler is free, but empty. Free but lost.
   So personally, I think that this upcoming album will be about Jenna and Josh picking up the pieces of the battle, and helping Tyler find himself. I feel like a nice shade of blue would really match this theory. Don’t you? Remember, this is just my personal theory, I have no way of knowing for sure. But just listen to Tear in my Heart and Goner with the word “Echo” and the phrase “You’ll have to come and find me” in mind. Xxx

BLURRYFACE END OF ERA: New Album Aesthetic Theory

New album aesthetic theory: Theory one: There are three main colors that are used in the twenty one pilots logo. These three colors are red, white or black (depending on which style logo), and blue. It looks like this: l - / . That is the standard twenty one pilots logo. For Vessel, however, the main color, in my opinion, was a silver-white. (While white means pure and innocent, it can also mean “A canvas to mark upon”. And gray/grey means dull, dirty, dingy, and feeling nothing and everything at once.) Making it look like this: l - / . For Blurryface, the main colors were black and red. Making it look like this: l- / or l- / depending on the color of the background.
