  • September 18, 1985- Chris Salih (original twenty one pilots member) is born.
  • June 18, 1988- Josh Dun (current drummer) is born.
  • December 1, 1988- Tyler Joseph (current songwriter, bassist, pianist, singer, and more) is born.
  • 2008- Tyler releases his person album, No Phun Intended.
  • 2009- twenty one pilots is formed. (Original band members: Tyler Joseph (writer, singer, piano), Nick Thomas (bass), Chris Salih (drums).
  • December 29, 2009- Twenty One Pilots (Also know as Self Titled) was independently released.

  • May, 2011- Josh Dun (current drummer) joins twenty one pilots!

  • July 11, 2011- Josh and Tyler independently release twenty one pilots’s second album.
  • November 25, 2011- twenty one pilots is signed by Fueled by Ramen.
  • April, 2012- twenty one pilots announces that they are now signed by Fueled by Ramen.
  • January 8, 2013- twenty one pilots release their first album via Fueled by Ramen titled Vessel.
  • September 4, 2014- The Quiet is Violent tour begins.
  • October 19, 2014- The Quiet is Violent tour ends.
  • May 19, 2015- Blurryface is released.
  • May 31, 2016- The Emotional Roadshow tour begins.
  • June 25, 2017- The Emotional Roadshow tour ends.
  • July 8, 2017- STILL FRICKIN’ WAITING TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON

BLURRYFACE END OF ERA: New Album Aesthetic Theory

New album aesthetic theory: Theory one: There are three main colors that are used in the twenty one pilots logo. These three colors are red, white or black (depending on which style logo), and blue. It looks like this: l - / . That is the standard twenty one pilots logo. For Vessel, however, the main color, in my opinion, was a silver-white. (While white means pure and innocent, it can also mean “A canvas to mark upon”. And gray/grey means dull, dirty, dingy, and feeling nothing and everything at once.) Making it look like this: l - / . For Blurryface, the main colors were black and red. Making it look like this: l- / or l- / depending on the color of the background. (Red is also said to represent alertness, pain, danger, revolution, domination, intensity, and more.)
